How to use the Mock Interview

A live, spoken mock interview with an AI interviewer for any profession. Set the role, pick a style, level, voice, and track, then answer out loud — and get a written coaching debrief with scores and model answers.

Quick start

  1. 1Open Your context and enter the role you're interviewing for (add your resume for sharper questions).
  2. 2Pick a style, level, and voice, then choose a Track and click Start voice interview.
  3. 3Answer aloud, press Done answering, then End & get evaluation for your debrief.

Set your context

The shared Your context panel (role, resume, target job, prepared answers with Adapt/Verbatim) calibrates the questions to your actual profession and level. Set at least the role for the best results.

Live interview

Configure, then start a spoken interview:

  • Style — Mixed, Technical deep-dive, or Scenario-based (STAR).
  • Level — Junior, Mid, or Senior, plus an optional focus area.
  • Voice — UK/US/India, female or male personas (UK female by default).
  • Track — your field's core track(s) plus Behavioral (STAR).

The interviewer speaks each question and the mic listens automatically; answer out loud and press Done answering (or type instead). Expect follow-ups on shallow answers. Keep the model answers panel open to learn as you go.

Debrief & Answer Coach

Click End & get evaluation for a written Coaching debrief — scores, what to improve, and model answers (optionally Read debrief aloud). Send any question to the Answer Coach tab to drill it: generate or pull a question, then Grade my answer.

Tips for the best results

  • Use a headset — the interviewer speaks aloud and can bleed into your mic (there's an on-screen warning).
  • For the most natural voices, incl. English (India), open the app in Microsoft Edge.
  • Very short answers (under 3 words) are rejected and it keeps listening — answer fully or type.
  • Only End & get evaluation produces and saves the scored report; Leave without evaluation exits with none.
